The AcES one-term course aims to develop an understanding of the principles, conventions and praxis of academic literacy, thus improving students’ proficiency in:  reading, writing, listening, and speaking about academic subjects, from structure to style, with an increasing focus on the academic needs of the group of students attending each course.
